My Kid's Dentist & Orthodontics

I brought my 5 year old in for a cavity/ filling and frenectomy. My child was so nervous and Dr. Mia and the dental assistant did an AMAZING job putting her (and me) at ease, explaining the process and making sure my child was as comfortable as possible. She was so happy and proud of herself when it was over and the appointment ended with a popsicle and tokens for a special treat. All of the front desk staff was friendly and helpful as well. We will be returning for her regular appointments moving forward. Thank you again Dr. Mia!

If I could give 0 stars I would! My son began orthodontic treatment with Dr. Sidu on July 14, 2021. My son's treatment did not progress until around March of 2023 when his general dentist began asking questions regarding the progression of his care, which then prompted me to also question the progress of my son's orthodontic care. I was told that my son's treatment would be 24 months; however, because Dr. Sidu indicated that the his treatment plan could last up to 30 months, they did JUST THAT...delayed his treatment until January of 2024! In addition to that, Kelli did not submit the claim for my son's braces timely which resulted in the denial. She then tried to blame ME for her incompetence, the insurance for denying the claim, and completely failed to take accountability for her mistake. In fact, because the claim was denied, they wanted to magically honor a cash paid option and charge me $1100 on the DAY my son's braces were scheduled to be de-bonded. I should also note that there was no outstanding balance discussed with me at the 3 appointments prior to de-bond day. I was offered a partial refund for the error when the FULL $1100 should've been refunded and taken from KELLI who dropped the ball. If that was not enough, in 30 months, my son's bite WAS NOT CORRECTED! He only has 2 molars that actually touch in his mouth, while the remainder of the teeth do not. He could not even open a packet of ketchup if he tried! My son will need braces....again. Luckily, my son has complete coverage for his orthodontic care that was not used for the 1st round which was a complete waste of time and money!!! ZERO STARS!!

We had a very pleasant experience with them. Their staff explained everything and relieved us of the stress that might have been considering our child was having surgery. Also they were diligent to make sure paperwork was correct.

Dr Mia was so wonderful when my kiddo had a playground accident and needed an emergency extraction on 2 teeth. The team was great at getting them in quickly on the same day, and Dr. Mia was warm and made them comfortable during a scary situation. I would recommend this office and Dr. Mia to anyone looking for a new pediatric dentist! Thank you!

Thank you Dr. Mia and the staff at My Kids Dentist & Orthodontics. I highly recommend this facility for little ones, my 8 year old suffers from being anxious in certain situations and we were both afraid on how she would react to receiving treatment, but with the help of Dr. Mia she felt at ease and feels so much better after her treatment.
