I had a very good experience purchasing 2 tops in November for my wife for Christmas. Unfortunately, they did not fit. When she tried to return them today it was well past their ridiculously short 15 day return period. They offered in store credit. Nothing in their store fits her. She is very small and the XS tops I purchased were too big. I wont be back. I would not recommend such a store with such unfriendly policies.

You will not typically see any rants from me because thats just not my style- but heres an exception because this is absurd. Attn: Apricot Lane Southlake- historically one of my favorite little Southlake boutiques in townsquare, stole from me today. I had a giftcard that carried a $253 balance leftover from when I bought $500+ worth of clothes and ended up taking some of the items back. They wouldnt offer a refund but I accepted store credit via a giftcard. Fast forward, I went in today to get my friend a birthday gift for her party tomorrow- and the STORE OWNER was there at the check out. She took my gift card and said, Sorry, I cant accept this. I replied, Im sorry, what? She said, We have had theft recently with these (holds up giftcard) and my system doesnt show this was ever issued or paid for. Super strange since last time I went in I had another employee verify the balance I had remaining on the card. I explained all of this and she just said, Im not going to accept the card. So I asked her to look up my customer number to see my history of purchases that would clearly explain where the giftcard balance came from. She said she couldnt look up my customer account because they had a new billing system. How in the world was that made to be my problem!? Im less concerned about losing the $253 but really sad that I can never and will never shop at this store again! The owner was SO rude and was stone-faced while she was accusing me of having a fraudulent gift card. When I tried to reason with her she treated me like I was a criminal and acted as if she could care less if I ever came back. I feel like I was a victim of theft by the store owner. Rant over, but I caution you from shopping here after that terrible experience. Now give me ALL the boutiques you go to near Southlake/Colleyville because I need to replace that one on my list.
