Calla Homes

Im not a resident but a neighbor. These homes are beautiful from the outside and a good aesthetic addition to our community. However, residents of this townhome complex have decided its totally cool to light off fireworks in their parking lot at all hours of the early morning. First off, the city ordinance does not allow fireworks east of 900 east (which these homes are). Second, it is illegal to light personal fireworks off in a parking lot not owned by the person lighting the fireworks (I highly doubt these people own the property of calla homes, fat cats bowling, the credit union, or the neighboring strip mall). Third, even IF 1 and 2 werent true, 1 am, 2 am, 3 am, and as of Christmas morning of 2023, 4 am, are illegal times for fireworks. The neighborhood is full of children, dogs, and working class people who (like myself) have to work early in the morning. I get up at 4 am for work. 3 am is a bad time for fireworks. Calla Homes management, please fix this. The cops arent fixing it. Apparently your residents dont care that the cops come every time they do fireworks. You fix this please.

We were the first renters of this unit since it was built. We love living here and our dog loves it here too!
