In the interest of full disclosure, I did not hire/pay these gentlemen. My apartment complex used this company to remove some very very large stumps from a multi-tree removal last year. One of the trees was a gorgeous, old tree that had probably been there since the 60's/70's and often had hummingbirds and other birds make nests outside my bedroom. My partner and I found quite a bit of joy from that tree, but once it was cut down, you could see the decay and I'm happy the complex removed it before it caused any damage but I was completely gutted, I really really loved that tree. NOW ONTO MY REVIEW OF THIS COMPANY: I came down from my apartment and asked one of the gentlemen (the one that was using a leaf-blower, I feel terrible I didn't get his name) if I could get a piece of the tree. It made an impact on mine and my partner's lives and I wanted to honor it in some way. This gentlemen immediately walked over to the stump, asked exactly how much I wanted, and then got his chainsaw. He didn't make me feel stupid or ridiculous for asking and got me a huge piece that I think I can make a lot of pieces to honor the tree. It was a simple act of kindness that made my week and I'll remember his kindness whenever I look at one of those pieces. I don't see having a need to use this company in the near future as I live in an apartment, but if anyone asks if I can suggest anyone, I'll suggest this business.
