Pizza Pie Cafe

Thank god they are closed now. Pizza taste like card board with sugar and fake cheese.

Pizza pie cafe is a cheap eats place to grab some salad, pasta, and pizza. Everything is served Buffet style, serve yourself. The salad is perhaps the best thing on the menu, If there were a menu. I've always found it to be fresh with a good selection of toppings and dressings. An attendant will Assist you at the pasta bar where you choose the pasta, then add your own Choice of sauce or toppings. There is a reasonable selection of pizza and dessert pizza varieties, Which most people find adequate, if nothing exceptional. Definitely not fine dining, but if you leave hungry it's your own fault. We like to take the grandchildren. Which reminds me; use hand sanitizer as you will touch things touched by dozens of others.

For the price and what you get, it is hard to beat this pizza place.

There was not a ton of pizza out when we got there. We got there about an hour and a half before closing and the restaurant was probably about half full. We waited at the counter for someone to come let us pay and it took a bit. When we went to get pizza, the counters were very messy and the salad bar was a disaster. All the toppings were pretty mixed together. The employees that I did see were just standing there talking. I wanted to get some pasta and I waited at that counter for a couple of minutes before saying anything to get the guy's attention. During that time, the conversation between the employees was about how crazy the day had been. He said it was the second worst day as long as he had worked there. Judging by that, it makes sense that things were crazy and maybe they were mostly out of stuff to make new pizzas. I don't know. But I do know that it was pretty calm when I was waiting for pasta and they were literally just standing and talking. That is very frustrating as a customer.
