We agreed on a price after they came out to see the tree, then when they came back to do the job and cut the tree down and grind the stump, they said it would be an additional $650 because they would need to rent a lift. We said ok because we really needed the tree cut down sooner than later. They never ground the stump down, and they started the job 2 months ago, so we had another company finish the job, and they got it completed that very day. We still owed $225 once the job was completed, but still paid more than originally agreed upon for the entire job, and that was without them even taking care of the stump. They kept pushing it out till "the next week", and "the next week" for a while, then he said they were in California and they'd be there for a month. I followed up and it was "another couple weeks". I was trying to be patient at first but then it just felt like he took off with the money with no intentions of finishing the job. We did talk to him about reimbursing us $200 since it cost more to have someone else finish the job, but he did send us $200 back, which was nice. I have edited the review because of this, and have now given them 2 stars instead of 1 star.
