Torrid

They don't have everything one would want to look for in a store, something as basic as a skirt, or at least there wasn't a certain variety of them.

Poor quality clothing at insane prices. My less than 5 months old jeans just got a big rip in them.

NEVER in the history of my shopping have I ever experienced such poor customer service. Long story short, after being let into a dressing room with my daughter and not being checked on once by staff, i exited the dressing room to retrieve another size for my daughter. I dropped off our "yes" pile to the associates ( without the hangers because I was trying to be helpful...) and was informed the store was closing in 5 minutes. Nothing else. No help. No going back to retrieve the " No's" nothing. I took back the new size pants to my daughter, she trys them on, it's a yes. I take them to the counter. As Shellie rings the last pair of pants up I just handed her ( salesperson #46833) looks at me and asks for the last pair of pants. I'm confused and tell her that the ones she has in her hands are the last pair. She then points to MY tee-shirt jacket I wore into the store that is draped on my shoulder and goes; " thoes pants" confused I show her my jacket and tell her its the jacket I had on when i entered the store. There is no sorry out of her mouth. just her and some new attitude. Confused about this new interaction my daughter joins us at the register. Shellie is now eyeballing my daughter up and down. She zones in on my daughter's shirt. It clicks for me she now has an idea that the 4 year old Torrid shirt my child has on is this current season and something we're trying to steal. She doesn't say anything because she knows if she's wrong things will probably go south pretty quick. She then follows us out and locks the doors behind us. This trip to Torrid came in at 250$ and I placed it on my Torrid credit card. Shellie if you get to read this, maybe check into how people really act when they are into retail theft, and maybe if your so concerned about whats going on in the dressing room and inventory control, provide a little more customer service in the dressing room I did report this interaction to corporate but just thought I would throw out a psa and let the public know not to wear Torrid clothing into the store (even if it's YEARS old) because you will be treated like a thief.

Great store for plus size gals. Cute clothes. Only problem is the store seems disorganized. Everything seems bunched together with no direction. Swimwear with sweaters and shoes n purses. Overwhelming to shop in.
