It is difficult to hear that you had a frustrating experience this morning, but appreciate the feedback. When the Y worked to identify where we would build our new facility, the community spoke with a clear voice that remaining downtown best served the community. We believe this to be true. However, it has its challenges, parking being chief among them. In the event you did not know, the metered spots are free until 9am and in the morning we often see spots available on South Union between Main and College, just a block from our building. We do hope you stay with us.

We're sorry that the experience you had did not meet your expectations. In trying to see when you encountered these limitations to enjoying your visit, we didn't see any recent visits. Just the one on a day pass this past summer.We recognize that parking can be a challenge. Often folks can find free parking on adjacent neighborhood streets (Bradley, Buell, or Hungerford Terrace) or the inexpensive brown meters on College St. when spots aren't available in the lot. At times of the day, we are certainly a busy place, but we also have our slower times. Sorry that you were challenged on the day of your visit to access the equipment you wanted in as timely a manner as possible.Regarding financial assistance, we have hundreds of members who receive support and work very hard to help make access to health and wellness accessible. We think this sets us apart from other facilities in the area.
