        please be aware that half of the year there is no AC. My apartment is 80 plus degrees right now and will be for another month according to management. I may have to get a hotel as it will be in the 90 degrees next week. You will have a very uncomfortable and hot and moist apartment and its not worth it! This is VA we all know the weather switches, so I wish more could be done as we have to continue to pay rent but live very uncomfortably. Unfortunately this is a deal breaker for me, so that is why it will have one star.

        Shirlington House is a beautiful place to live. Recently just toured here with their agent, Tiana. Their apartments offer a lot of natural light, convenient amenities, and updated fixtures. Our tour with Tiana was professional, fun, and very informative; definitely recommending her to anybody I know moving in that area. Hoping to move here soon. *fingers crossed

        Stopped by for a tour and did a self-guided tour instead! It was super easy and this is a real contender for when I move. The apartment was really clean also which I am a sucker for.

      Hello!We apologize for any inconvenience you have experienced regarding the AC in your apartment. At our community, we have a boiler/chiller system that provides heat and air conditioning for our apartments. This system only allows either heat or A/C at a time, and it involves a difficult and time-consuming process to change between the two systems. Building owners are legally obligated under the Virginia state building code to switch over to heat on October 15 and maintain it until May 1. Air conditioning is not required in state of Virginia. However, if it is provided by the landlord, it must be maintained in full operating condition from May 15 to October 1.
