Blue hair girl finally came over and said something to me . Mind you ive been in the store for 30 minutes at this point. I expressed that to her . Because it was just wild they saw me come in , made eye contact but nothing. She then said i had my earphones on, and it was my fault basically no one greeted me. And I had them on the top of my head, so my ears were visibly out.
I was pretty irritated after this interaction with her. No apology anything. I go up to the cash wrap to check out, i really wish I didnt really need what I needed. So mind you the girl with the glasses was ringing me out and blue hair was standing behind her , not really doing anything, but back completely turned to me. So as I check out blue hair , Is greeting every customer now.. odd ..
I left with a really weird taste in my mouth, because ive been to the falls church one and always have an amazing experience. So I called the manger later on, mind you it took hours to get a hold of a manger. Im sure shes had to deal with this before. So i can tell as im talking to her she cant really be bothered. And she goes i hope you have a better day , in a super condescending way.
Save youre self the trouble and go to the falls church one, there way more professional

In there for, the only thing I asked him was the location of the skin care products. The way he spoke to me was unbelievable and I 100% believe it was because of the color of me and my sisters skin. before I even decided to ask him anything, he was assisting a lady of a different race than mine, therefore I waited respectfully until they were finished. He made sure to speak to her very politely and even went out of his way to answer her questions she didnt even purchase anything after that.. when it was my turn to ONLY ask him where the skincare section was he was SO rude to me unnecessarily, as if he didnt want to answer my question. I let it go because I really wanted my products! After walking to the section that I was looking for, ARNOLD then made sure to have a few of his employees FOLLOW my sister and I around the store as if we were going to steal! This is what put the icing on the cake! I have never in my life felt so discriminated against! There were other customers in the store of a different race than mine that were not being followed like we were, and were able to shop in peace. That day I still made a purchase, and spent almost $200.. however, I will never shop at this Ulta again! I will also warn all of my family and friends of the same race as me to beware of the racism
and shop elsewhere. I never imagined that I would have to write a review like this in the year 2024, but here we are! It took me a little time to write this review, I tried to give it some thought and benefit of the doubt, but after replaying the situation in my head several times, Ive come to the conclusion that it was simply discrimination!
