Days Inn by Wyndham Chesapeake

This place should be bulldozed. I'm not a critical a person and never complained about a hotel. But this is the most repulsive room I've ever seen. It looks like they wiped the dirty floors with the white bed sheets. The owners of this place should be embarrassed. I was given another room but the TV wouldn't turn off and the fire alarm wouldn't stop beeping. I got a refund. I feel sick. Oh and the place stinks to high hell.

I got there at 5 in the afternoon, there was no one at the desk and I had rang the bell at least 5-6 times in a matter of 10 minutes. I was patient until my son told me he needed to use the bathroom. I finally walked around to find the manager and I told him I was trying to check in. We make it back to the office and I tell him my son needs to use the restroom so then he starts kissing butt to my son. (Im the one paying for the room. Not my son.) He tells me that they arent able to give me the room I booked and if I wanted a room still, it would be $5-$10 more; he tells me not to worry about it but I figured he probably only said that because he realized I had already paid and he couldnt charge me again. Which I feel like is more of a problem for them than it is for me. Its shady and dealing in bad faith. The entire staff comes off as rude or as if youre bothering them. At 10 AM, a lady knocked on our door and then proceed to look through the glass window with her hands and face pressed up on the glass. Never have I been to a hotel where a situation like that has happened. She said she was just checking to see whos checking out and who isnt. The room was absolutely filthy. Marks all over the walls, ceilings, lamp shades, pillow cases, bed sheets, and counter tops. When I went to brush my teeth at night, I turned on the light and I had just seen 3 roaches hide into the drains or other gaps in the hotel that management can clearly see. There are no efforts made to improve the hotel experience. All the furniture in the room is either dirty, dusty, or broken apart. The fridge doesnt even work, you can hear it constantly trying to start and shut off minute after minute. It was room temperature. The AC had broken pieces on it as well. It had clearly not been cleaned in a very long time. When checking out, the lobby was also in a mess but you have two people behind the counter just talking instead of doing things beneficial to the hotel. Dirty tables and floors right in front of their face but they couldnt be bother to do anything about it. Overall. I will be requesting a refund and if that doesnt work. I will be disputing the transaction.

This hotel is ran down in every room they gave me the bed is stained and looks like they never been changed. All dressers are messed up, microwave was dirty, ac didnt work. Now theyre making me get a parking passes this is not a good area to stay. The manger IS sweet but its getting out of hand with al bell these new rules but the insides are trash not good for staying. Needs new everything the outside is even trashy. My aC been leaking for three days.

My friends and I booked a room here because it was close to an event we were attending. When I checked in a large sign said no breakfast even though the website says they have it. The room was filthy. Broken drawers for the dresser, filthy bathroom, and the floor looks like it has never been swept. The only upside was the rooms were cheap.
