We had a really disappointing experience at this store. We were convinced to consider switching to Verizon wireless when picking up a new router and verbally promised a price for 4 lines with new phones. After a chaotic 3 hours at the store, we did get new phones (3 of which were working) and a ton of accessories that were told were covered by our trade-ins. Once we got home we realized that we ended up paying significantly more than we wanted or expected and our monthly bill is almost $30 higher than what we were quoted. Everyone seemed friendly but its obvious that they dont see you as a real person but only a commission. I feel like I was really taken advantage of and I will never return to this store again.

My 60 year old mother went in 2 weeks ago to get a new phone after her iPhone 12 became unusable. My mother had made the mistake of happily talking to the employee, Billy, about a business she plans to start in the future. Billy used this information to make my mom think she needed much more than she really did, and overwhelming her with pointless add-ons and accessories. Along with her new iPhone and internet plan, my mom left with an iPad she specifically told Billy she couldn't afford; extra cases, and over 200 dollars of LIQUID SCREEN PROTECTORS! My mother had a feeling something was up after getting home and the initial excitement of her new devices worn off. She talked to our family and expressed that she felt taken advantage of. Thankfully my mom has experience working in banks and knew what she needed to do to get a refund. When my mom checked her email, CONICIDENTALLY Billy forgot to send my mom the email with the receipt! This was after he insisted on a digital receipt instead of a physical copy at the store. We had no evidence that she was just scammed! My mother was too scared to go back in there, as she had realized she had just been taken advantage of and didn't want that to happen again. I decided to go back in there and get a receipt myself. When I went into the store I was greeted by the same person who had just taken advantage of my mom, Billy. He has short blonde hair and yellow tinted glasses (I'm assuming they are blue light protection glasses) I politely explain what happen to my mom as we walk to his work area, where I then ask for a receipt. Billy has been completely silent until this point where he responds with a complete evasion: "She was just in here a few hours ago." I acknowledge his time and spatial awareness skills to say such a profound statement with a stern "Yes, but we don't have a receipt after you said you'd email her one, so I'd like a physical one now." He rolls his eyes and after a long, uncomfortable 45 seconds I am handed a printed copy of the reciept, I leave the store and go into my car where I see the breakdown of the costs. There are 6. SIX. Charges of 64.99. SIXTY-FOUR DOLLARS AND NINETY NINE CENTS. For a grand total of 389.94! And what was almost half of the total bill for? It was for liquid screen protectors. If you know ANYTHING about screen protectors, then you know that 1: Liquid screen protectors are terrible compared to a normal tempered glass screen protectors, and they offer little to no actual protection against scratches, cracks and falls. 2: Even if you do use Liquid Screen Protectors, you don't need 6 of them! That's complete overkill for something thats already pointless! We tried to call the store about this but couldn't get to anyone, so my father went into speak with a manager. The manager was hiding in her office, and wouldn't come out to see my father. Thankfully, we have contacted higher-ups, and we have gotten a refund and they are now being investigated! Please take this as a warning! Do not trust anyone at this store, especially if you are older, they will exploit this by pressuring and overwhelming you, as well as intentionally not giving receipts, and management not willing to speak with customers who have complaints. I understand this is a commission based job, and you are rewarded for upselling and meeting certain sales goals. But this wasn't normal sales practices, this was calculated exploitation of an elder for profit, while at the same time being unprofessional and flat-out rude to the poor people you're scamming. Absolutely Disgusting, and not an example of the previous experiences my family has had with Verizon. DONT LET BILLY TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU.
