This first impression of staying at Embassy Suites has caused me not to ever want to stay again. The room was horrible. From dirty sheets to a dingy mildewed, rust filled bathroom. Rooms: Terrible

Thier are two women that work at front desk Anita and a short woman with glasses rude as can be after we booked room for a day later we were put out our room the day before we were supposed to check out. I went down in a rush to get a cart and check out only to catch them say f ING white people I stopped in my tracks looked at the woman in glasses and you could tell she knew heard them saying the rude unaccussable things they said she looked like a dear in the headlights I've tried to complain because those women do not deserve a job at hospitality when they are as unhospital as they are! This is easy to say but they do not expect people to return with the way they talk to and treat people they were rude as can be till the moment I caught them talking prejudice and rude after leaving we were refunded the 2 night extra we had already paid so not only after staying over 10 days we were put out because of thier mistake we were also talked about in vulgar manor this hotel is nice but these women make it a bad stay everyone else there is great at customer service but these to were rude from the moment we checked in I've never took this amount of time to say how bad someone is at thier job I review alot of hotels because I'm a avid traveler but in my home town I have to say these two are the worse customer service people I have ever met the only gripe I would have besides these two is they charge for parking in Henrico it must be the only hotel in Henrico to do this my guess is it is Anita's idea to rope people that have no idea this isn't done at any other hotel in the county I have to say if these two are removed from staff I would still recommend hotel bit with them on staff I can't you can look at photos below to see where I complained only to wait a half hour for Anita to respond I hope this is taken to the highest level because treating any customer like this unacceptable I will be waiting for response from ownership termination of the two prejudice women is the only acceptable answer this would be a five star if not for Anita and women with glasses at front desk Food & drinks: They give 2 free drink for thier happy hour and a good free breakfast Noteworthy details: The front desk day people Anita and the women with glasses are rude and prejudice

Disappointing Stay - Avoid if Possible We recently stayed at Embassy Suites and were incredibly disappointed with our experience. While the late check-in was smooth, everything else went downhill from there. The Room: The moment we entered our room, we were hit with a strong, musty odor. It smelled damp and unpleasant, lingering throughout our entire stay. The bathroom is filled with mold on the walls, shower curtains, and shower walls. Unfortunately, that wasn't the worst of it. The heater wasn't functioning, and despite the cool weather, we were left shivering all night. We contacted the front desk, but with our late arrival and early departure planned for the next morning, we opted not to wait for maintenance. The Property: The overall condition of the hotel was quite run down. Carpeting in the hallways seemed threadbare and dusty, and the general feel was one of neglect. Breakfast: The complimentary breakfast was another low point. The selection was limited, and the food itself was unappetizing. Overall: This stay was far from what we expected. Considering the price and the online photos, the reality was a major letdown. The combination of uncleanliness, lack of heat, and poor breakfast make it difficult to recommend this hotel. If you're looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay, I suggest looking elsewhere.

The hotel rooms and amenities are very nice. My only complaint is the Parking Fee which feels like it should just be included in the cost of the room. The breakfast, made to order, was delicious. It has a very nice pool area, very relaxing. All in all, it was a great stay.
