LWSS Family Dentistry - Suffolk

ATTN military families: Very friendly & I am sure LWSS provide excellent care. Sadly, they do not accept TRICARE. Unfortunate considering those of us who rely on TRICARE have very limited options this side of the JRB.

At the Suffolk location there is a hygienist who is one of the rudest, unprofessional people I have ever encountered in dentistry.

The website is poorly made, the bots don't work, bills have been paid and keep getting duplicate bills.

So, Im giving this review for the office managers. I no longer go to this practice. The reason? Ive found a much better practice with much better customer service. You see, while going through chemo, one of my molars broke and became abscessed. Anyone who has gone through chemo or know someone who has, knows you cant mess around with infections. They couldnt get me in for weeks until my oncologist called. They got me in, it was great. I truly appreciated it. What I didnt appreciate is the complete lack of understanding when the bill for $53 was missed by me and my husband. I was busy battling every side effect you can think of from chemo, from infections to cdiff. Not to mention the mountain of bills that come along with cancer. They sent a letter about it and I called several times, leaving voicemails for the office manager. I was never called back and, honestly, after that, it was forgotten. Fast forward a few months and I needed to get in again and they refused to book me because of the $53 bill. Even after I paid the bill and explained what was going on I got SUCH an attitude from the office manager. So uncaring, so unsympathetic. I had to beg to get in. They eventually allowed me in. After that I began to look for a new dentist. Ill stick with a practice that actually cares about their patients.
