I called and left a message to get an estimate to paint our waterlogged pine soffits and back patio area. Tony was very quick to respond by phone and had an estimate within 2 days. (We had 2 bids from other companies.) We liked the reviews that we saw for John's painting, and appreciated their quick response and thoroughness. Not only that....they were able to get us in the following week. Tony was SO detailed and communicated regularly! That's what I appreciated! He explained the kind of paint he would be using and kept checking to make sure everything was perfect. And it was! It updated our house and made it so much brighter! This has been by far one of the most stressful situations of my life. I received a quote for painting, but the side of my house needed sanding and siding changed out. His subcontractor to someone that rushed through the job and would not come back to fix it. When I called John to complain, he told me to go to hell because I threaten to have to take him to court if he wasn't going to fix the problems. He did send Tony out and some of it was addressed but after one winter, it all fell apart . So my almost $7000 job lasted for 10 months and they refused to help me. By the way, John is not licensed and bonded as a contractor, his license comes up as a barbecue, catering company.. Tony is very pleasant, but if you have more than a couple of complaints, he loses patience and doesn't want to deal with it anymore. And technically he doesn't have to deal with it anymore because the contract is in John's name. They have quite a set up. It's incredibly sad that they take full advantage of people, and especially single women. Services: Wood painting, Exterior painting
