Why I ask them to put on my spare they said I didnt have one. Because at the time I could not afford the four tires they continue tell me I needed to have. I went across the street they were happy to help me. Guess what? I HAD A SPARE!!

I never write reviews but if youre looking for an honest dealership look somewhere else. My experience at Toyota of Renton was a disaster from start to finish. When I went to buy my car, the finance guy, a big dude, threw in over $4,000 in extra charges out of nowhere. Were talking about stuff I never asked for and certainly didnt want, on top of a ridiculous $5,000 "market adjustment" fee. Whats worse, they promised me all sorts of documents, like my credit check, but I left empty-handed. The finance manager was all smiles until I caught the sneaky charges and called him out. Then, boy did the atmosphere change he turned downright hostile. I felt trapped and ended up just wanting to get out of there with my car. Service? What Service? Dont even get me started on their service department. My car came back with dirty mats, and they barely cleaned it when I asked. Its obvious theyre short-staffed, and it shows in their lack of attention to detail.And about my cars tech issues? They bragged about their top-notch techs, but my car sat there for a month, and they didnt even touch it. I kept getting calls asking when Id bring in my car for regular maintenance while it was already there! I also cant get over how they stick to outdated processes, like making me come in person to sign paperwork for a service loaner every two weeks. Hello, ever heard of digital signatures? What should have been a quick service visit turned into a weeks-long ordeal. On another occasion I had an OEM tow hitch installed. Charged an arm and a leg, told me itd be a quick job only for me to come back and see sloppy workmanship with cuts and bends clearly showing in the bumper. Took another two weeks to finally get it fixed at another service center - not at the dealership. Honestly, Toyota of Renton was a letdown. The buying process felt deceitful, the service was sloppy, and their whole operation seemed stuck in the past. Its a shame because you expect better from a Toyota dealership.
