The Hayes on Stone Way

I think the Hayes apartment building is great. While I would give the building itself 4 stars, I'd give the staff 5 stars. The apartmentI have is always warm in the winter, has good lighting, and is in an ideal location. The premises are clean although has funny smells from time to time (hence the 4-stars for the building, although i think this is normal for these complexes). For the staff, i have to give it 5 stars. Matt (the manager) is amazing. He is responsive and very accommodating whenever I've had questions and any issues that need to be addressed. Similarly, the building staff (specifically Stan and Julio) are amazing. They really work hard and do a great job of maintaining the property, including quickly responding to issues, making sure the common areas are clean, and having the garbage/recycling always organized. I've seen a problem with this in the past, but since they've been here I have no complaints. In total, i think this building is great and the staff really make this place standout.

Locked out after hours (10pm) and the after hours emergency maintenance line isn't accepting calls. Definitely not a "luxury" apartment building.

If you care about noise, DO NOT rent at this apartment building. This building is built off thin paper or else my neighbors are elephants. I live on the top floor, I could hear the stumping form units next to AND below me. I dont know what kind of giant lives downstairs but I could hear them stump ALL THE TIME! It gets worsesometimes they will be running in their apartment. I cant imagine the lives for the poor souls living in units below them Because the noise issue and literally no sound insulation of this building, I am counting my days to move out this building.

Location is fantastic and we enjoyed some of the amenities, but I've never seen an apartment building managed so poorly. They are incredibly disorganized and terrible at communicating. We dealt with various erroneous charges over our time there and resolving each one required in-person conversations with multiple employees (they never answered the phone). The problem only got worse when a new management company took over.
