For whom is searching a great apartment to live, Don't choose this apartment, you deserve better place. ( I have been living there, and I won't recommend it to my friends. And following is why ) 1. The agent / manager Connie was unprofessional, ego and rude. i.e. She is not responsive on several complaints and followups about flies around the garbage bins. And another example she blames things on the fly, and again become ghost and irresponsive when I followup to ask evidence and details. 2. The price has been raised again and again, on the other hand very poor services is offered. i.e. the Garbage bins are full > 5 times a month, and your package has to be picked in short time window (otherwise you package will be returned) all in all, the incompetent agent / manager mess it up.

I lived here for a couple years, so this review is based on that experience. The biggest problem is the noise from the street. I have lived in a lot of big cities and in downtown areas and on busy streets before, but none have had anything close to the noise problem here. Northgate acts like a sound channel which collects all traffic sounds from the block and filters them directly into your apartment. From about 5am to 11pm this amounts to foreground noise, not background noise. Traffic is the main thing you hear. Especially if you sleep in any of the master bedrooms where the window faces that street, though the problem is certainly not exclusive to those rooms. Not only is it a large truck route, but it is between a police station, a hospital, and, worst of all, a fire station. Firetrucks all hours of the day, with the loudest imaginable horns ensure that all sleep will be interrupted. Crime is also a serious issue here. It might be argued that this is a growing problem in all of Seattle, and I'm sure that's true to some degree. But the problem here is that it seems to be a nicer little pocket than it actually is. When you spend more time here you'll notice that street crime is more frequent than it first appears. My household was subject to a crime for which I had to contact a lawyer to figure out how to get the property management to co-operate with the police department investigating the crime. The manager Connie was rude and dismissive, but was not ultimately able to prevent the police from getting what they needed. I'm very fortunate that I knew how and was able to contact a lawyer to intervene with a landlord who would not cooperate with the investigation. Finally, the price. You pay a lot more than what it's worth. If you're poor, you can find a place that gets you better value for your money. If you're not poor, then I'm not sure why you would choose to live here. *edit in response to the apartment complex. This is not a series of ongoing reviews. This is my only review. The description of my experience with the management speaks directly to my experience with the management. It might not represent their general reaction, but it does represent my experience.

I had the misfortune of living in this apartment complex, and I feel compelled to warn others about the grave safety concerns and lack of cooperation from the property management. If you value your safety and the security of your belongings, steer clear of this place! First and foremost, the level of insecurity in this complex is appalling. Car break-ins and thefts from the parking lot occur regularly, leaving residents in a constant state of fear and anxiety. It is shocking that despite this recurring problem, the management has failed to implement any effective security measures to protect their tenants' vehicles. Moreover, the danger extends beyond just property theft. Multiple people have been assaulted either on the premises or on the sidewalks surrounding the building. It is utterly unacceptable that residents cannot even feel safe while walking outside their own homes. This is not an environment conducive to a peaceful and secure living experience. Another major issue is the rampant package theft within the complex. Numerous residents have reported missing packages, pointing to a clear lack of proper security protocols. It is deeply frustrating to have your deliveries stolen, and it reflects poorly on the management's negligence in addressing this issue. What adds insult to injury is the property management's complete refusal to cooperate with the authorities in investigating these incidents. Despite having security camera footage capturing these crimes, they obstinately withhold it from the police. This blatant disregard for residents' safety and the well-being of the community is absolutely unacceptable. The management should prioritize the safety of their tenants over any inconvenience this may cause them. In my interactions with the site manager, Connie Arambul, I was met with an astonishing level of dismissiveness and disrespect. She consistently brushed off my concerns, responding in a rude and passive-aggressive manner. I was shocked to witness her gaslighting tenants, denying legitimate requests and making them feel like their concerns were baseless. This kind of behavior from someone in a position of authority is deeply unprofessional and unacceptable. In conclusion, I implore you to stay away from this apartment complex if you value your safety and the security of your property. The regular car break-ins, assaults, stolen packages, and the management's lack of cooperation and dismissive attitude make this place a nightmare to live in. Don't make the mistake I didfind a safer and more respectful place to call home.

Thank you for taking the time to share your concerns about your experience at Meridian Place. We take all feedback seriously and strive to continuously improve our community. The wellbeing of our residents is of the utmost importance to us. Unfortunately, crime has no address and it has gone up everywhere in Seattle. This is not an isolated event in our area and we do empathize with your situation. We want to know about all crimes on property, so we can review and take steps where possible. We’ve made significant investments in the following: package locker room, camera system, more secure mailboxes, metal storefronts and door guards as well as providing video to police as requested. We have no reports received of missing packages, but residents should report to the office if this does happen. Due to privacy concerns, we cannot issue security footage involving other residents directly to residents since they are not a part of law enforcement. We are more than happy to share video surveillance that does not violate privacy rights to residents that request this information. Furthermore, our cameras are positioned to capture our apartment community, not public property like a city street. We take all incidents seriously and work closely with law enforcement agencies to assist in their investigations and give any video footage needed to the proper authorities. We hope our cooperation with you and law enforcement with the camera footage will bring us one step closer to finding answers. We wish you the best. -The Team at Meridian Place Apartments
