Great staff. Tiny but nice rooms. Noise galore. Random beeping all day, and night--maybe a bus--like an alarm clock at all hours for 4 days. Thin walls make for interesting conversation listening. Would recommend if you are comfortable wearing ear plugs.

Location is about the main thing going for it. Even considering the relative value of a room here, there are lots of misses. First, the walls are thin. Super-thin. I get that it's an old property, but people really need to be warned on this. I normally have no problem with other hotels that some people complain about having thin walls, but I could hear entire conversations and cell phone alarms through the walls. Combine with a population of people who might be jetlagged or coming in late from stuff, it'll be the luck of the draw of whether or not you can get a good night's sleep. Rooms are cooled/heated by a window unit. This window unit is LOUD. Again, normally I can sleep through this stuff, but the constant on/off cycle throughout the night kept me awake, like a form of sleep torture. For other nights I just ended up turning off the unit and bundling up for warmth. The internet does NOT work. Out of my four night stay, it was up for maybe like half of one night. The room itself is missing some amenities I would consider extremely basic for a hotel. Like a hair dryer. Even a coffee machine. Instead, they have a self-serve coffee thing in the lobby in the morning. I'm sure they cut down on their costs that way, but I didn't realize until staying in this hotel how much I valued being able to groggily guzzle some coffee *before* having to get ready for the day. Stay here for the location, don't stay here for anything else. Rooms: Tiny rooms Walkability: Very walkable area
