To all Kazakhs and other Russian speakers! My path to emigration began back in 2019, when we ran into a lying lawyer in Florida who ruined our initial path for us. We lost hope, but in 2021 we found Katya > Stelmakh Law Associates through Google. We decided to try with her. And we immediately saw her scale and seriousness towards her work. We opened a business in 2022 and, based on all Katyas recommendations, received an E2 investor visa for our small business. Having worked since 2022 almost 2 years later in America, we recently applied for EB2 NIW and also received approval. There are no miracles, we tried and worked and showed good results, but I sincerely believe that thanks to Katyas professionalism and her experience, our immigration journey to the USA came to an end, and Katya remained our family immigration lawyer for life!

Stelmakh & Associates have been an essential partner in our entrepreneurial journey at Flavor AI. From the initial consultations to the meticulous preparation of documentation, Katya and her team navigated the complexities of the U.S. immigration law with precision and efficiency. I successfully got my H1B visa approved in Sept 2023 and my cofounder Ram got his O1A visa approved in Nov 2023. The fact that not only did they get our visa applications approved but also made sure to accomodate our various other constraints including travel plans and the myriad of immigrated related laws that needed to be navigated, stands as testament to their expertise and dedication. We are particularly grateful for the personalized approach taken by the team including understanding the nuances of our professional and personal situation as well as a deep understanding of the needs of our startup. Their understanding of the needs of our business and the tech industry was evident in every step of the process. The team not only secured our immigration statuses but also contributed significantly to our company's growth by ensuring we have the right talent in place. We highly recommend Stelmakh & Associates to fellow entrepreneurs. Their expertise, commitment, and personalized approach make them an invaluable asset. Thank you to the entire team including Katya, Jelena, Arvin, Vanessa and Olya!

  • To be honest, it seemed like madness and an absolutely unrealizable idea to me to try to immigrate to America. The thought of immigrating to other countries did not seem so difficult, but also alluring. I studied the requirements for a talent green card to the States (EB-1) and realized that I actually meet many criteria. A lawyer was needed. I wrote to several highly rated specialists on Avvo.com - this is a portal that, as I understand it, can be trusted. Something like the official database of American lawyers. The lawyers answered, and I was horrified by the prices. Katya's price, in relation to her high rating, turned out to be the least offensive, and we began to work. Katya analyzed my initial data and gave me the task of what I needed to find according to the criteria. It's a very slow process, but step by step I started to close the gaps. In addition to closing the criteria for the case, there were a bunch of other things that needed to be done that I didnt even know about. Open an IP in the States, having previously registered a TIN there. Draw up a business plan so that it is clear to the officers reviewing the case that I am going to continue working in America and not sit on the necks of taxpayers. Bring the officers confirmation of the demand for my work in the United States. In all this - in addition to closing the criteria - Katya helped me and gave instructions. 10 months after starting work, we submitted a case. This is where the most nerve-wracking part for me began, because we were sent a Request for Additional Evidence (RFE). The officer found fault with every comma. In a panic, I began to describe where, what and how to prove it, although I should not have done this, but the alarm could not be pushed anywhere, it resulted in a detailed response to each of the officers claims. I sent this document to Katya as a basis for writing a formal response to the RFE. And I was very surprised when I received her version from Katya: if I emphasized cause-and-effect relationships and provided factual evidence for this or that claim, as if defending myself, then Katyas version simply bombed the officers claims, because, as it turned out, 99% of these claims are generally illegitimate. Well, that is, the officer writes, they say, you provide the following evidence, but it is not suitable, give others. In my version, I give others, but Katya writes that according to the law, the first evidence is suitable, and you, comrade officer, are incompetent and go beyond your powers - naturally, in very correct formulations. We won the case! Thanks to Katya and her team for the excellent work, the desired result and patience with the avalanches of my anxiety - this is also very valuable, especially when your fate is literally in the hands of your lawyer. PS: Payments can be divided into parts. The path seems insurmountable only at the very beginning. But after the first step, each subsequent step turns out to be more and more real. If someone had told me a year ago where I would now find myself, I would not have believed it. The inner impostor is your enemy and lies everything. Just write to a lawyer and find out whats going on - they dont punish you for asking. Wish you luck!

I contacted the law firm Stelmakh&Associates to request assistance in applying for an O1A non-immigrant work visa. My case was not an easy one - I had achievements in both academia and tech startups and had a large number of supporting documents. I had to very carefully select the most suitable ones and correctly structure the cover letter so that the USCIS officers understood merits of my case. My decision to choose Stelmakh & Associates was largely influenced by the strong recommendations of my friends who had successful experience working with this firm in processing similar O1A cases. From the very beginning, the team led by Katya Stelmakh took an active part in the preparation of my documents. My case included two main directions - entrepreneurial activity in IT and scientific activity. It so happened that my case turned out to be one of the most voluminous in the firms practice, and the team handled it perfectly! During the preparation process, a lot of attention was paid to details. Every aspect of the petition preperation process was carefully considered. The Stelmakh & Associates team's diligent work resulted in the successful approval of my O1 visa application, a major milestone that opened up new opportunities in my career. Do not think twice, Katya and her team are the best!
