Farmers Insurance - David Whittlesey

First, let me start by saying that I am a single mom opening my own business for the first time in 2022. David is the type of guy that takes your money and does not put any additional effort in. He did not go to war for me and help me a good rate. Instead he lined his pockets with a $130 finance charge and found me a policy that costs about $100 a month for a small business to conduct makeup tattoo work. I remember David requiring more documents in order to push that number down, but he never followed up to me to get those documents so I thought that the rate that I got was the best rate based on what was given. This was not true. I couldve turned in additional paperwork and got a rate a little bit cheaper for having a lawyer check my pre-screening application for my clients. David didnt bother to check in on this and take care of me as his client. His responses over email were moot and short. I sent David two clients over the duration of a year and received no thank you or appreciation from David or his employees for the total of 1400 in referral cash I sent him for business. Odd . I had previously (before sending referrals) inquired about the referral incentive program and was told that this establishment does not have one. It with me wondering why I would pick David to be my insurance agent ever again. His renewal email was something along the lines of (keep in mind this is a professional) that sent no memo other than are you renewing? Probably not. Get someone else. That cares!

Customer support is there for you during normal business hours. You can always count on David and his agency to do whatever he can for your business, home or auto. Hard working and responsive within reason. I would leave a 10/5 star review if I could.

I highly recommend you find a different office I was reffed to David from a close friend. I called and liked my quote so I signed up for home owners insurance. 2 months later get a call from David said I needed to pay 125.00 for not adding any vehicles to my plan when I specifically told him the day I signed up I didnt want vehicle insurance only home owners. He should have never gave me an auto discount when I told him I didnt want one. So I told him he was going to cover the 125.00 and he never did my new office tried to reach out to him to discuss this he hung up on them. Super unprofessional. Steer clear of this office
