Unemployment Insurance Department

I have paid into unemployment compensation my whole life and now that I NEED it they, the current employees, can't even make a determination whether or not I am eligible to receive it.

Took over a year to send an automated letter to notify me my claim was identified as having possible suspicious activity. Let me say it slower so it sinks in. It took this department, DWD - Unemployment Insurance Division, Over a year (365 days) - To mail me an AUTOMATED letter. To kick it, they say that I ONLY HAVE 7 DAYS TO RESPOND. The AUTOMATED letter had a blank spot on the signature line too, I guess they wanted to add that personal feel... It's like they kicked me in the balls, I forgot all about it, and then sent me a letter one year later to remind me about that time they kicked me in the balls and then they put me on a time table to respond.

I would give 0 stars if I could!! This place is a joke!! filed for unemployment during Covid and waited months for them to pay out!! They never answer the phone and when they do they don't give a any answers!! This is what Union workers do.... They do nothing!!

I've been waiting since October because of an issue I was never told about. I'm currently trying to resolve the issue, but cannot get ahold of adjudication. Why is it a such a struggle; even when we are at reportedly very low unemployment levels in the state.
