Holiday Inn Express & Suites Milwaukee NW – Park Place, an IHG Hotel

Booked 4 rooms with two beds each for a volleyball tournament in town. We had 16 of us staying there so we had just enough room. When we show up and check in at 9am after a long day, they give us 2 rooms that we asked for and the other two were king beds with a couch. This is not what we booked and part of our group was forced to stay elsewhere. SEVERAL other groups checking it at the same time as us had the same issue. And staff had no understanding or sympathy about what they had done.

Currently under construction (04/2024). No hot tub, seems they took it out and put in a kiddie pool. Low water pressure. Saturday breakfast most items were gone by nine even though breakfast is served until 10. The rooms are huge and have 2 queen beds and a sofa sleeper. Staff were helpful but they are shorthanded. Came with group for Women's state bowling championships.

Extremely unprofessional & not helpful at all. I called 3x today before booking to inquire about the service and pool and they lied about everything. I specifically booked a mini vacation for my kids for 2 nights FOR THE POOL. They wait until AFTER we check in they tell us theyre pool is closed for renovation after telling us its open and available from 8am-10pm. This is extremely disappointing and unprofessional!!!! They dont want to accommodate or transfer locations or even give a refund, the front desk worker didn't care and told me to call in the morning to speak with somebody else cause he cant help me then shood me away. I am 9 months pregnant & this was supposed to be a peaceful get away for my family but its the COMPLETE OPPOSITE. I would NEVER book here again or even recommend!

Absolute nightmare to stay in. People were screaming up and down the hallway, kids everywhere and the staff didn't care about peace and quiet. They recently remodeled and the work was below subpar. Rooms were big but everything sucked about them. People were screaming in the hallways till 1 in the morning. There was at least 30 people in the room across the hall making incredibly loud banging noises. Do not stay at this hotel in this area, choose another, save your sanity.

Rooms: I know the hotel was being remodeled but my stay was horrible! I was there with over 40 women for bowling and there were so many problems. Parts of the hotel smelled terrible, none of the pull out sofas had bedding in the room, two of the rooms had missing tiles in the bathroom and my room did not have a shower curtain! I asked at the front desk for one and couldn't get one as housekeeping was gone for the day. Did not get one the second day. Our third morning there, we met a housekeeper in the hall and within 5 minutes she was putting a new curtain up! Who signed off on the rooms under construction! The breakfast was very good except on the third morning they ran out of regular coffee and we were told that there was no more to make! Crazy weekend.
