He promised so much, but it was so disappointing. We had a discussion in the beginning before we committed and he answered what we needed to hear. The end result was weeks of telling us he was almost done, and the many ? Not really answered timelty.

Do not trust Brett with your money. You will not receive what you are owed because he will take half of your return. Good luck getting it back. This is a highly suspicious business.

Really wished I had done more research before going with Brett to do my 2020 taxes. When my husband and I dropped off our documents we were told by Brett that he would have it done within a week. Fast forward 3 weeks and 3 different phone calls from either my husband or I and we still do not have anything back. That was about the time that it seems like he finally started on it. He asked us a few more clarifying questions and told us he would have it back in a day or so. Mind you he had stopped responding to me altogether. He would only correspond with my husband which I found to be VERY sexist and beyond infuriating. Finally a month after we met with him/ started this process, he sent my husband an email with our tax  information. It seemed VERY inaccurate so we started doing our own on turbo tax as a gut check. My husband emailed him back asking to clarify how those numbers came about. And then all of a sudden within a few hours he "re-ran the numbers" and they came back significantly different than the first set of numbers.. All in all we felt so uncomfortable with it that we ended up going to HR Block. WHICH came up with a completely different set of numbers. Please do not go to this man if you are looking to be treated fairly, promptly, OR accurately!
