Customer service was very rude. We asked for a room and didn't even bother looking at the screen. And when she walked away I heard her mumble about us having an attitude. There was no need for any of that and if she was up front watching the reception area ahe would notice there was no attitude I won't hever come back to to this olace

Stay away they will knock on your door even when you have the do not disturb sign on the door and they will bang on door and window and jiggle the door handle to harass you ( because they r a holes). Roaches broken chains on door no window screens no window locks I just noticed they had family members give them a five star reviews.. this shows exactly what kind of people they are!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I relocated from Motel 6 in West Greenwich which was nasty and roach infested! I was visiting from Tampa to attend my sons wedding.
Rooms: Very comfortable rooms.
Nearby activities: Like I said, Garden City is right across the street.
Safety: I felt very safe staying there because I am originally from Cranston but lived in Tampa, Florida for 20 years and just moved back to Rhode Island last October.
Walkability: It is right across from Garden City shopping.

This Econo Lodge was hands down the most unappealing and grossest Hotel I've been inside of in decades. I made the reservation through an online portal and when I arrived at 10:00 p.m. and viwed the property, I knew I had made a bad choice. I checked into the room and took a few photos and immediately noticed that I could hear every single thing going on in the room next to me. This hotel probably has around 60 rooms and they were roughly 12 cars in the parking lot. I could hear to the couple next door having very loud sex not once but twice during the first hour I was there. When they began for a third time at around the hour and a half mark, I realized I was in a room next to a sex worker. I called the front desk and asked for some addressing of the noise problem and was told they would call the room next to me.
The phone never rang in that room, which I know because I could hear everything. Before the two hour mark the sex noises began for the fourth time. I called the front desk again and asked to be moved to another room and was told they had no other rooms available and they would call the room next to me again. This did not happen, and I can only assume that the front desk knew exactly what was happening in this room I was complaining about.
When the sex noises began through the wall again at around 2 hours and 15 minutes I knew I could not stay there. I called the front desk and asked if they would please give me a refund. A woman answered the phone told me that, yes, I could come to the lobby and receive a refund. I arrived at the lobby to find an adult male no te woman i spoke to. I told him that I had been offered a refund, he replied that he would process it and i should to drop my key card into the drop slot. As soon as my key card became unretrievable the employee stated that he couldn't give me a refund because I had booked through an online portal.
I asked him to review the security camera footage (there were three of them in the lobby) and to please return the cash that I had paid approximately 2 hours and 20 minutes before that. He told me that I had not paid in cash and that I had to wait for a refund through the online portal. This was ridiculous and a lie.
Interestingly, while I was loading my meager luggage into the car a police officer appeared in the parking lot in his cruiser. I waved him over and asked if he had been sent there because of my numerous complaints. He replied no, I come through here four or five times a night as part of my routine. I recapped my experience and he immediately stated "you really don't want to stay here. you should just get out and leave." This sure was an accurate statement. Even the police in Cranston Rhode Island know that this hotel is not somewhere any respectable person should be.
