I spoke with the owner and ordered a face cord of wood. By all accounts this is a load of wood that is 4 feet high and 16 feet long. What I got was a load that was 9 feet long and not quite 4 feet high. When I called about the discrepancy, I received a rant that accused me of trying to rip them off. This group was out earlier this year and did a good job on a partial tree removal, but the wood delivery was $433 for half of what I expected. I have been buying cords for more than 30 years and this is the first time this has happened. Accordingly, make sure you understand the exact details of what you are receiving. Personally, I will just go somewhere else next season.

Quick and efficient service. Called on a Monday and they had a crew out the next day and got two large oak trees along with two smaller trees pruned and cleaned up for a reasonable price.

A poor arborist. I called A Better Aborist in order to get wood delivered. Even at almost 3x what everyone else is charging I like quality. I scheduled a time with him and then called right back because I had forgotten that we were going out of town. I asked him to come this upcoming weekend. I called again to reschedule again because I volunteer and my volunteer weekend is this weekend and I forgot. When I called he said that he didn’t even reschedule because usually people are looking for a better price. This, unfortunately for him, is not always true. He then went on a rant about how good he is and how everyone else’s wood is probably bad etc etc. never once apologizing for wasting my time by not showing up or even contacting me about not wanting to sell me firewood. I am thankful that he did this since I know now to never use them. I will say that I believe everyone has the right to choose their customers, I just wish he would have been upfront enough to tell me. I am also posting this here because I couldn’t get a word in edgewise before he hung up. The most inconsiderate business I have ever worked with and I didn’t even get anything from them.

Todd's crew did an excellent job removing a tree from our backyard and another from our front yard. Very professional, zero damage to property (house, fence, sprinklers, etc.), and left work areas perfectly clean. Price was fair, too. Todd has been a neighbor of ours down the street for many years; glad to be able to use a service run by someone who is local. Service: Tree removal
