I hired Active Plumbing as a referral from a family member. The outcome of their work has yet to be determined because I had to hire another plumber to do additional work on a drainpipe in my laundry room. Active Plumbing failed to provide me with a detailed accounting of the work they provided as requested and when I finally was provided with a verbal accounting after the work was completed, I was made aware of their bad business ethics. They charged me an hour each for two employees to go buy a PVC pipe and concrete. This was not explained prior to the work. In addition, both plumbers took at least 3 smoke breaks while they were here doing the work. Only one of the plumbers actually did they work but I was charged for the work of two plumbers. Do not hire these people.
