Edgewater Hotel and Waterpark

Staff at the desk were very helpful with any questions and needs. The Waterpark kept all busy and entertained for a few hours. Lifeguards are very attentive and watchful. There was only one lady working the food counter in the Waterpark and she worked efficiently, was friendly and kept us well informed as to how ling the food would would be.

Kind of rundown. Room was on the lakeside and the road noise was terrible. I could see light through the door to the balcony. Lounge was not open when they say it is. Price was OK though.

Mission Clean Hotel Impossible
Watch out! The rooms at this hotel are extremely dirty (food crumbs, scraps, stains, filmy bedsheets) . The hallways are condensed and dark, like the bedrooms which have no windows for our type of room.
Additionally, although the service was kind, they were unable to help us solve these issues with our room.
The water park is fun, but very used.
P.S. Pre-Covid, our stays at this hotel went very well. We appreciate our past experiences, but were very let down with this stay.

Overall, the experience was good. I would say that it was only an overnight stay and therefore, in terms of service, we only encountered very few staff. They were generally friendly. The room was big enough for three people. We requested an accessible room. One or two things I want to say about the accessible bathroom. The shower chair provided was wiggly, looks unstable. So I didn't let my person with disability use it. The floor of the shower area look like there's tiny insects on the floor. I thought it's something to prevent from slipping but it's not because it's part of the floor - they are flat. And the shower set up are quite confusing to use. But we're able to use one of them.
The east door which we're supposed to enter are not handicapped accessible. It was quite difficult to roll the luggage cart inside the hotel and outside because it won't stay open. Somebody has to hold the door. The hotel is dated. And the water park is small.
I think the big thing is the door. I also saw a mom with her two little kids going in. The little kids just went inside and the mom struggles to get inside pushing the luggage cart.
