I recently had a disappointing experience with Carlton Senior Living. Despite advertising a full-time job for at least 35 hours per week, they reduced both the hours in the daily schedule and the number of days per week. The Activities Coordinator seemed overly controlling, making the work environment less than pleasant. Additionally, communication from the management was poor, creating a frustrating and unprofessional atmosphere overall. Adding to the dissatisfaction, my time at Carlton Senior Living was marred by what seemed to be a wrongful termination. The sudden decision to let me go without enough valid reasons added to the overall sense of unprofessionalism and left me with a negative impression of the organization.

Carlton is a wonderful facility with a beautiful and large courtyard with fountains and seats and various plants. It is attractive and useful for relaxing and for seniors to exercise. One of the most important advantages of Carlton is the wonderful community that exists there. The staff is super friendly, and the people that live there are quite friendly. Its truly a community in the sense that the staff knows your name frequently, the people know your name, and theres no big differentiation between staff and residents. This is very rare and wonderful.
