I would not recommend using this realty company. I usually do not like writing bad reviews on anybody or any business, but I need to express my disappointment with this realty franchise. If anyone who has followed my reviews can basically figure out that I will not bash anyone or any business on any review site. I have never encountered any situation or circumstance where I really felt the need to express my frustration publicly before, till now. All I will say is, there are literally hundreds of realty companies and realtor agents and real estate brokers doing business here in Hawaii. We have different reasons why we choose who we want to represent us in any type of property transactions. Family, friends,recommendations,referrals, everyone knows someone. I made a big mistake choosing Hawaii Life Realty in Hilo. IYKYK, if you dont, contact me and I will share with you before you commit and sign the contract agreement. I will share with you a true comparison of 2 realty companies selling 2 homes at the same time at the same selling price and you can decide who you would rather represent you and your interest. Broker 1, met with me personally,shook my hand,looked me straight in the eyes and says this to me. We dont care if its a million dollar sale or a hundred thousand dollar sale, we will provide the same attention, resources and care no matter. Here is my personal cell number call me anytime you have a question or concern. I give you my word this will be as painless and stress free, sit back and let us do the work. We closed in 27 days, amazing. I have yet had the pleasure meeting anyone other then the RA. Ive expressed through e-mail to there,I assumed was there head office my displeasure with their affiliate office. Have not received a response from anyone from Hawaii Life Realty, just silence.

Spoke with Renee, who is the broker for the Puna area. I was amazed at her knowledge and helpfulness. She really took the time to put me at ease and answer my questions. Very nice person.

I booked a beach front cottage in Hana from Hawaii Life 2 months in advance. When my family arrived at the check-time, there was already a family there and apparently they double-booked the property without informing me until I arrived. Then they refused to refund my money stating 'accommodations subject to change'. So they got someone else's money and kept mine. I am currently pursuing a refund via my credit card company and Hawaii-Life is disputing that! Find someone else to do business with.
