I decided to reach out to Gary after I received a bill from the New Jersey Division of Taxation that was not consistent with the information I received from TurboTax. Gary contacted me almost immediately and after I sent over my tax documents he quickly reviewed them. After reviewing the documents Gary was able to work with the New Jersey Division of Taxation to get me my correct refund. Thanks to Gary I received a refund instead of having to pay over $3K that I was mistakenly billed.

I'll be succinct - I left a voicemail, I texted, I emailed. NO ONE reached out to me. Definitely not my loss. Also, makes me wonder if the reviews are real or bought. Oh well.
EDIT JUST TODAY 11.30.21: IT'S SO EASY TO BUY REVIEWS NOWADAYS. SCAMMERS CAN ALSO PUT UP LOTS OF WEBSITES NOWADAYS TO LOOK LEGIT. INVESTIGATE BEFORE YOU HIRE SOMEONE. Thank God I was spared because they didn't respond to my text as said number (below) or emailed. HAHAHAHA. They just probably want your sensitive info like social sec etc.

Just impressive job! His explanation on my tax return was so detailed and precise. And most importantly, he got the job done so quickly. Im sure Ill ask him my return next year again.

This was the first year I decided to use a professional to handle my taxes. Although my friends and colleagues had always suggested that I use someone with experience, I've always used Turbo Tax in the past just to get it over with as quickly as possible. This year I felt like my taxes were a bit more complicated than past years and didn't want to take the chance of not doing them correctly and potentially owing money when there was a chance I could actually get something back. I reached out to a few people but decided to go with Gary. Gary was a pleasure to work with and as long as you give him what he needs, he'll take care of the rest. Working with him was actually easier than using Turbo Tax lol. Furthermore, I went from fearing that I may owe money to getting money back. Makes me wonder how much money I left on the table in previous years when I did my taxes myself using Turbo Tax. Moving forward, I definitely want to maintain a relationship with Gary and go to him with any financial questions, concerns, and future planning. He's definitely more than just an accountant to use for taxes and I plan to work with him to make sure I'm managing my money the best I can. Thanks Gary!
