Came here for the second time in two years to do my taxes, my wife and I had increased our income by a certain amount. We were charged exponentially more than last year in taxes this year and we were told that its because our income increased, that we had someone not filing their taxes correctly, and then we were charged 300$ after having a terrible experience in the store. Not only was I told I had to make a MASSIVE payment by April 13th, I was not told about the possibility of making payments to the state which I had to ask a Tax attorney about. After I had heard about the fact I was given wrong information, I had someone call and the Branch Manager could not answer questions that we needed for the Tax Attorney. Not only was I given incorrect information, out a major amount of money, and then told I could not change anything; I was then told because the IRS was already processing money it was too late to change to try to make payments to the state. Working in a customer service industry, this hands down was one of the worst experiences I have ever had filing taxes. I absolutely will not be returning here in the future and will be filing with Turbo Tax next year.
