I have been a member of this organization for well over 20 years, I have had conversations with numerous Knights of all degrees and life time members, sadly to a person we all agree that this organization has turned into a rotten cesspool and is a disgusting organization that says one thing but does the opposite. If you are a Knight or considering becoming one , DO NOT. How does a religious organization that spouts a strong anti abortion stance, allow business to be done with extreme pro abortion organizations that give money to people to help them obtain abortions??????? You call the Supreme Council / Office you are forced to speak to the female receptionist who insists that you are not allowed to speak to anyone and to write an email or better yet take it up with your local council, and somehow thinks its appropriate to address me by my first name. When I told her that I sent numerous emails and faxes and received no response 6 months later I am told to try again or take it up with my local council. I do not know who gave this woman, the authority to be the rude gatekeeper for the K of C and not allow calls past her is beyond me, especially since she is not eligible to be a knight. thats a lot of power and control over actual Knights by a person who cant even be one, and is not permitted by the oath, Knights take, to have certain things divulged to her. But she has no problem saying she has other calls to answer and ending the call. Its become evident and disgusting that the K of C spouts high religious values but does not care less about following them, and complaints and inquiries are met with rudeness or just ignored. That explains why all the persons I recently spoke to have either resigned or are resigning shortly. THIS ORGANIZATION HAS LOST ITS WAY AND IT SEEMS LIKE ITS ALL ABOUT THE MONEY, SCREW WHAT THEY SAY THEY STAND FOR AS THEY DONT CARE OR FOLLOW IT THEMSELVES. AND IF YOU COMPLAIN, GOOD LUCK GETTING A REPLY. ITS ALL ABOUT THE MONEY. AVOID THIS ORGANIZATION OR EVEN CONSIDER JOINING, I HAVE BEEN TREATED BETTER AND IN A MORE RELIGIOUS FASHION BY THE VFW THEN I EVER HAVE BY THIS HOLY RELIGIOUS BASE FARCE OF AN ORGANIZATION. AND TO THE IGNORANT RUDE RECEPTIONIST, LEARN SOME MANNERS, BUT MY QUESS IS THAT YOU ARE SOME HIGHER UPS RELATIVE , SUCKING OFF THE MONEY TEET OF THE MEMBERSHIP
