Poor customer service. The representative talked over me while I was trying to express my issue. My issue was never resolved.

I made a complaint with Comcast that concerned an employee asking me inappropriate questions. They didn't do much about it as far as I know. They didn't even offer me any compensation for my distress. So much for customer service. I'm in the process of dropping service with Comcast forever.

MANAGEMENT: Shame on you for creating an awful customer service experience for your wifi customers. I WISH YOU HAD TO USE YOUR OWN CUSTOMER SERVICE. YOU SHOULD TRY IT ONCE.

Comcast is one of the most profoundly evil companies ever.
My parents lived in a 55 and over community, when my Mom died 18 months ago I had to take over as POA for my father because he couldn't manage his affairs. When we moved him into an assisted living, I needed to live at the house for a few more months to get their belongings and affairs sorted. Their cable bill was over $130 a month! I ONLY needed basic high speed internet to work while I was there. Not phone, not TV, not premium channels. I called and the rep was very sympathetic, she said she understood the situation and would remove everything but the HS internet. Amazingly, the bill dropped something like $27 a month. I was pleased. I thought...wow...comcast really looked out for me and my family's finances.
Fast forward to about 8 months later when I'm selling the house. I call to cancel the remaining service a few days before closing. The rep says "so you want to cancel the Netflix and blah blah children's channel." (name forgotten) I was like...what? I come to find out that, in this 55 and over community, THE BASIC PHONE, CABLE *AND* HIGH SPEED INTERNET ARE PART OF THE HOA DUES. Which all residents have no choice but to pay. I could have been paying ZERO extra a month. I confirmed this with a neighbor and the HOA. The first rep had just signed me up for extra streaming channels I didn't want, to keep getting some revenue from me. There was NO indication on the bill I was actually paying for some random kid's streaming TV channel and netflix. And of course she didn't tell me I didn't need to "cancel" cable TV because I was PAYING FOR IT ANYHOW. Amazingly, they actually put some kind of block on, and the cable TV did stop working back in the fall. Making me think the $27 a month really was for a basic HS internet. Absolutely scurrilous and underhanded.

Prior to December of 2022, my Xfinity bill was supposed to be $60 per month for the internet only. I contacted Comcast support on December 31st, 2022 to notify Comcast of their billing error because they were billing me $80 per month for internet when it should have been $60. The support agent acknowledged I was being charged $20 more per month than I should have been and he agreed to adjust my bill and refund for any prior months of being overcharged. The support agent then offered me a discount if I added 2 phone lines, bringing my internet bill down to $40 per month for internet and $60 per month for our 2 phone lines. I just checked my bill and saw I was still being charged $80 per month for internet on top of the new $60 phone bill. I have been overcharged a total of $240 since December, I contacted them via BBB and they sent me an email stating they will not honor what their representative has promised via chat, and that I'm now stuck with the higher internet price and the 2 added phone lines I only added for the deal.
