image If you enjoy dim sum brought to you on carts, this is an authentic spot in Chinatown.

image Even when I stand in line, Chinese people cut in line and it's so bad. I never want to come to a place like this again.

image Came here during the holidays.
TLDR: Got Tip chased on a holiday for sub par service and food.
I was here with my family and my little niece. Wait time there was about 20-30 minutes which we knew was going to happen so we waited. Everyone was waiting and was fine.
We got placed at a table at the stage and we thought it was weird since there was one on the stage and there was no way to navigate around with how clustered everyone was. We got to the table like they asked but the workers never cleared the table. There was still food left over on the cover and was clearly just finished eating on.
Had to keep my niece's hand off the table since we didn't know what the stains were. We waited about 10 minutes until one of the old workers (which was a lot of them) noticed and started clearing things out for us. My cousin asked for some water and we got tea. She never got that water and we used our water bottles we had packed for her since the whole meal no one got to us.
We then waited and none of the carts were near us and sadly we had to step down on the stage to get the food and hear them. We spoke Vietnamese but I don't think there was many Vietnamese speaker there. So we spoke in English which was fine for anyone that was younger but was very disconnected with the conversation even for the area that this restaurant is in.
Food was okay at best, some were hot, some were mildly warm. No one really flagged us down to ask if we wanted food or were just so slow with the carts that we had to eat extremely slow. Only a few times we had people step on the stage for us to get it.
So if you see stage seats just tell them no.
My mom wasn't as happy, she use to work in the food service industry, and told us not to tip too high since everything was sub par. She is the type that would give money to homeless people and double tips so I was shocked to hear her say this. So we left a $5 tip for our meal, yes I know that's low but it was for my mom's day. So we end up leaving and my mom went to the bathroom. I paid and came outside and waited with my family. One of the younger guys, with a gold vest, came out and looked for us. He said we never tipped so he was asking us to tip, CLEARLY HOLDING THE 5 DOLLARS SINCE I FOLD MY MONEY A CERTAIN WAY. So he came out demanded us money or would stick around until we paid up. My niece looked concerned so her mom gave him some money and he walked off.
Never have I ever been tip chased. None of my family members ever got tip chased. We paid and we were fine just leaving it without any bad reviews but this was one of those times I can't let it slide.
For the service it was not worth the money or time/headache to get food during the holidays.
I know holidays are bad but sometimes you just got to keep in mind that having an ok moments is better than having a bad one.
