On Wednesday evening, a dear friend was a guest at your hotel, and I wanted to acknowledge her birthday by sending a special dessert to her room. This did not prove to be an easy task, yet your staff member, JOAN, went above and beyond any expectations in order to make that happen! She was so pleasant and eager to assist in anyway she could. If you were to single out an asset among your staff, it would have to be Joan! She represents the Intercontinental at its finest, and I am grateful for the exceptional service I received.

Will never go back. Mattress was in bad shape. Took me the morning to recover from back pain. Tile in bathroom was dirty and coming up (loose). Drinking glasses in room were dirty and not disposable. Room was noisy. Half the elevators didnt work and there were long waits to use the ones that did.
I checked my wife into the hospital in the morning and came back to our room. The room key did not work. I talked to the people at the front desk. They said they can not give me access to the room because my wife paid for the room and I was not listed for access. I explained to them she was admitted in the hospital having test done and couldnt get a hold of her for a few hours and we had epilepsy meds and c pap machine in room. Even when I volunteered my license or what ever else I could, they said sorry. Its policy. I thought it was just bad judgment from the person I talked to and talked to a manager. Unfortunately, this message was consistent and I had to wait till my wife was out of the hospital to get access to room.
They might respond to this to save face that they appreciate the input and they are sorry we werent happy. It was clear that was not a concern of theirs.

The rooms were so cold that I got sick after the first night sleeping in a chilled room! I called to the desk and they said that it is just an old building! They only can offer one or the other! Heat no air conditioning, air conditioning or no heat!
Rooms: The rooms would have been perfect if we were given the choice of temp we wanted in it!!!!
Walkability: The location was the best thing about the hotel! It was in walking distance to everything you needed to enjoy outside of the building!
Food & drinks: Food prices were high for the quality of the food!
