I went here at 3 in the morning to get drinking water, there was a lock and chain on the door and even though there was a guy on the inside he just waved us away, so this 711 isn't open 24/7

Considering this area is scary as hell sometimes, I do venture into this 7/11, but not any more after today. I came inside with my Starbucks coffee cup I purchased downtown at Paseo de San Antonio and 1st Street. I just walked to get a Snapple and a cup of noodle soup then straight to the registers. The clerk was inside an aisle attending to something, bent over. When he arrived to ring me up he seen my coffee cup and said "a refill" I was puzzled and said "no, it's fresh" and he said again "a refill" and I said "if you're asking if I refilled it with your coffee, no, I didn't, but I guess a lot of people do that so you have to ask, I don't do that though." If he is so quick to accuse, maybe he should have been watching me the entire time instead of doing something else, sees me waiting for him to purchase, then accuses me.
