I needed some landscaping work performed at my house because the ground around my house had settled, and the water was flowing towards my house not away from my house. I also wanted to get the water from my gutter downspouts away from my house. Cutting Edge Yard Service was very prompt and knowledgeable. They came out and spent time with me designing a plan to solve my problems along with making my home look much better. I attempted to get additional quotes to compare prices to be thorough, but no other landscaping companies returned my call, and I called 6 Springfield prominent landscaping companies. All in all, Rick, Lori, Brad, and their team did an outstanding job dealing with me and my wife, and our changes in the middle of the project. Our project came in on budget, and it looks GREAT! I'm very pleased with the work the team does. They are all very friendly, kind, and willing to help you out without gouging your pocketbook.

I'm really bummed not to get the opportunity to use this company. I completed a website submission on July 21st. I had yet to hear from them so I called them on July 28th. The gentleman who I talked to apologized as someone was out of the office and not able to get to the submission. No big deal! They scheduled to come out and look at what we needed done and said they would be out July 29th. They didn't show the 29th or 30th but did show up August 2nd. They had to ask what we needed done despite taking the information down. Again, no biggie. They said on the 2nd that they would send us a quote. Here we are on August 9th and not a word out of them. I know someone who uses them and they came highly recommended. A horrible first impression leaves and they still don't want my business.

Highly recommend! We had 9 trees removed from our yard from another company followed by a inground pool installation last summer. Cutting Edge came out to regrade the entire yard, remove roots and seed the yard for new growth. They covered the entire yard in a straw blanket and gave us detailed watering instructions. We had a absolutely beautiful yard in less than a few months. We mow our own yard but use them for all treatments throughout the year. 1 year later we receive consistent compliments on the yard.
