Teri is a Queen. Shes the property manager and helped me a ton with the move in process. While I was undergoing a career change and moving, Teri made the process SO easy and efficient, its honestly the best move-in experience Ive ever had. The maintenance manager is awesome. After the previous tenant moved out, he flipped the apartment quickly and made it look new again. The views are exquisite, the apartments are secured with cameras and key codes, and every tenant Ive encountered has been super nice! I feel lucky to have found Teri and Vista Del Rey. Happy clam over here.

I lived at the Vista Del Rey owned by the Chinese real estate company Targa between 09/21-09/22. Successfully got my deposit back( 1 MONTH LATE AND AFTER CALLING 7 TIMES AND THREATENING TO GO TO THE TENANTS ASSOCIATION) and exited the building with no issues otherwise, but I did not have a good time living here.
I can tell you that multiple negative reviews have been removed after I assume them petitioning google multiple times, and fake positive reviews flooded this page while I lived here.
Targa had owned the property for almost a year before I moved in. They pawned this property off as peak luxury apartments totally renovated but in reality they are shotty craftsmanship with white paint sprayed over loose handles/fixtures as well as white painted everywhere over everything.
When I moved in , there where 3 fixes that needed to be made right off the bat. I really wished I toured in person!
The surrounding area is fantastic so please look elsewhere at the multiple actual luxury apartments in the same area that in most cases are equal or cheaper.
Targa came in kicked out all low income residents , did a terrible remodel and hiked up the rent.
There are also multiple fees and charges that randomly appeared on my bills hoping I wouldnt notice, and it took multiple calls over a period of 3 months to correct.
Moral qualms aside, its just not a quality building, My suggestion to targa is to lower the rent and be honest with what you have or do an actual remodel and stop trying to get quick ones on your tenants.

I do not live at Vista Del Rey. I have been doing a lot of searching for apartments and mostly have been met by agents that do not really care whether you rent or not. They are just showing you apartment because you asked and that is their job. But Teri at Vista Del Rey was a delight to speak to and the tour of building was one in which she was knowledgeable about and prideful in. She is easily reachable by phone, which is rare, and on the chance that you must leave a message it is promptly returned. So to summarize, I cannot yet speak to living here but Teri is a delightful assest that seems to genuinely care about meeting your needs at Vista Del Rey.
