Larry has been amazing to work with. He has gone above and beyond with guiding me with insurance needs, giving me ideas, and having the patience to talk with me when I have questions. Lots of patience at times! He makes the time for me and hes personable, kind and positive. He and his assistant are always so professional and pleasant. I highly recommend him for your insurance needs. He has been exceptional.

My experience with Larry wasn't good. I used him to purchase insurance for my business in 2021. The first year went ok. I wasn't thrilled with his service compared to my last insurance company I had with my previous business. He wasn't as prompt and seemed to make the process more difficult. April of 2022 it was time to renew i didn't have a good reason not to renew with Larry so I did and everything seemed normal. Nothing had changed too much with my business from last year and the cost was exactly the same, almost $700. Well almost exactly a month later over $1500 was pulled from bank account without ANY kind of warning. No email, no text, no phone call... NOTHING! I tried immediately once I discovered it to call and email Larry. After getting the cold shoulder for several days I finally caught him off guard in a early morning call. He told me that the insurance company took the money as a result of an audit and some paperwork i filled out wrong. Funny you would think I would remember filling out said paperwork, which i don't. He is the one who initiated this payment and he lied to me. An agent with BTIS insurance told me he had the power to do so and that if I wasn't getting the help I needed from Larry then I needed a new agent.
Silver lining is i like my new agent a lot more. They did all the paperwork for me to ensure there weren't any errors. When I finally get my money back from BTIS insurance it will only be 75% of it after I just renewed for the entire year a month ago. I am going to eat over $600. I wouldn't recommend Larry Kalahiki, the only reason I gave him 1 stars is because I couldn't give him none or negative stars.
