After calling and speaking with a technician, he determined I needed to take my phone to the store for an updated sim card. He told me to connect while in the store to download any updates and then check to be sure my issue was resolved. The clerk at the store was polite and helpful, installed the new sim just fine. However, I couldn't connect to the internet or check my phone there. The clerk said the store is a dead zone, they always have connectivity problems. Long story short, it did not resolve my issue.

Don't like the unlock policy on phones with forgotten passwords . Wanted to make me buy new and switch my provider costing more than they are worth.
