The Boot at Brook Highland

The food was delicious. The burgers are amazing and complimented well with locally brewed beers. Great staff, fast service, and a friendly atmosphere.

We were so excited to try this place out. We don’t often get a chance to go out to dinner and we were excited to try something new. The food was fine but it was completely overshadowed by the rudeness of the staff. We were in a corner table chatting away and not 4 minutes after we had our food delivered a staff member walked up and said “is there any chance you are going to be done in 10 minuets or less? I do trivia night here and it has to be at THIS table because the cord doesn’t reach from the others.” So he wanted us to leave right as we were starting to enjoy the food we waited patiently for! This is AFTER our we were checked up on by two other employees and no one told us we were sitting at the table he would need. We reluctantly moved to one of the few other free tables but it was so much louder that we couldn’t hear each other (We originally picked our table because it was in the corner and much easier to talk. much quieter). We got so bummed out that we just packed up our barely touched food and went home. It was cold by the time we got home. The food is good but I’m not about to go back to a place that has no thought for their guests. We don’t get to go out often and it really just ruined our experience.

The atmosphere is almost like a neighborhood pub and the food is more like a food restaurant. Nice folks.
