Charming atmosphere, nice quiche and delicious espresso shake. However I have been there numerous times, and each time my coffee with almond milk has been scalded and the milk separated. Either they are not familiar with using non-cow's fat milks or the milk is a non-barrister variation - which splits when heated. Someone please tell them!

Coffee is good, not acidic, not too "bright". Hot cocoa is good, too. The woman behind the counter was a bit grumpy (early morning? not enough caffeine? perhaps, troubles at home? either way, we didn't take it personally). The older gentleman helping her was quite nice. They DON'T take credit/debit cards - cash only or Venmo (which was cool to know that that's an option).
