Best Western Plus Mesa

Filthy floor carpet, damaged carpet, marks on cabinet, halls have wallpaper coming loose- see photos. They were unable to provide promised accessible room, even while claiming it was supposed to be accessible, no other rooms available. Friendly staff who just could not help. Pool closed. Worst hotel I have had the misfortune of using in a long while. Outlet not working. My feet got dirty just walking across carpet from the bathroom to the bed (see photo of washcloth).

First and foremost the staff is well scripted. The rooms on the other hand. Door to room won't shut without being pulled hard. Is a problem from other guests as well. First room, door peel not properly secured. Wall protector cracked. Chunklings missing from bottom of bed. 2nd room. Animal fur in the drawer. Bullet sized crack in the bath tub. Broken toilet seat. And door that wouldn't shut properly. Onto the pool of death. Cracks around the pool. Some missing pieces around pool and Jacuzzi. Metal hand rails not secured. It's an accident waiting to happen. For having a Plus , Best Western has gone down hill. Avoid this place to save yourself from mental and physical anguish! (WILL NOT BE COMING BACK)

Update:they messaged me back about the incident then ghosted me when I asked if they would cover my medical expenses occurred during my stay there. Might have to get a laywer.

We stayed here for a wedding that was down the street so the 1 star is simply for the convenience of the location. The dishonest staff & their lack of empathy for their guests is what made this experience a living nightmare. We are VERY thorough people and check through our room before exiting for our stay so this is a one off scenario for my boyfriend and I. I had left some jewelry behind, 3 very important rings (one being my grandmothers antique ring and two others that were gifted to me) that were left on a side table during our stay. Absolutely NO ONE has called me back even though I was told someone would get in touch with me, all of my messages before I actually spoke to someone went unreturned and we were told that nothing has been returned to their lost and found. One of my other friends who stayed down the hall also left behind her AirPods and the second they got home the SAME day they checked out, they were told that they were not returned. Don't stay here unless you want their conniving, thieving staff to steal your things God forbid if they are left behind. Not only is it heartbreaking to have your things stolen thinking that the staff would have good intention on returning something that ISNT THEIRS, but the fact that the front desk never answers the phone or cares about following up with guests is VERY disappointing.
