A fan for years, my recent experiences left left me thinking that DeFalco's had been sold. I found out, the change was family generational. Always purchased my Christmas Eve Italian sausage. This past year the sausage was not the same: inferior! I had a bad experience with a cannoli and espresso order after the holidays. But the worst was my lunch stop 4/2/24. I ordered the Maximus Ialian sandwich. The bread (different quality from years past) was cold and dry. Although there was more than enough meat, the prosciutto was scrappy fat, and the Italian dressing I ordered wasn't delivered making the sandwich even more dry. I live in North Scottsdale and have never minded the drive before due to the quality of the products. There are alternatives closer to home. Sorry to see the changes and quality go down.

Counter serve authentic Italian, pizza, and deli. Italian and European imported foods. Good food. Quality deli. Good place for fans of take-out.

We have been regulars here for past 10 years and now they have changed the rolls for the sandwiches, skimp out on ingredients and prices have been hiked up a good amount. I understand prices going up but when the portions get smaller its a a no go. Its really too bad , we will have to find a new place for sandwiches
