Flowers did not even last for three days. By Christmas morning the flowers look like they've had it.

I inquired with May Flowers for my wedding bouquets, corsages and boutineers based on a referral from my wedding venue several months in advance. I dealt with Vicky, who handled the business communication with customers. I have never seen their floral work in person. This review is based on the customer service alone, which was HORRIBLE and UNPROFESSIONAL! 4 days before my wedding, I texted Vicky asking how and when did she want to get paid. Only THEN did she inform me that they sold the shop and that I was not an existing order that transferred over! So you can imagine what that did to a bride who was already stressing about a million other things. From the beginning, responses were slow. I gave them the benefit of the doubt since she said her florist was on maternity leave and she herself couldn't answer questions about types of flowers or pricing. When she finally got back to me with a quote for the flowers, I accepted since the price was very reasonable. I asked if we needed a contract and she said that they just log it in. I thought it was weird that they didn't require a contract/ deposit and figured our email string served as their contract. Fast forward to 4 days before my wedding, and she was quick to totally blame ME for the miscommunication. She said she asked for a deposit via email but NOT ONCE was a deposit asked for. She only broke down the final payment and forms of payment she accepted. I was the one who requested to meet in person to discuss the quote, but that meeting never happened because I was happy with it when she gave it to me. When I was freaking out to her 4 days before my wedding, she was so cold. She basically called me a liar but I have all our communication documented. She reluctantly tried to help me find another florist but called back saying that NOBODY would do the flowers at the cost she gave me and it was such a steal. She made me feel like it was my fault that she quoted me so low, but she was the one who gave me that price and the whole reason why I went with them! She finally referred me to another unprofessional person whom she said needed an answer by that night. When I called the referral, she told me she had to go, wouldn't be able to use the flowers I wanted and would call me the next day with her list of flowers and quote. She NEVER DID. In hindsight, I did find someone else on my own who did an extraordinary job with the arrangements, using the flowers I wanted. This review is to let Vicky know how unprofessional she was and maybe take this experience and learn to be nicer and more understanding to clients who want her business. Even if this business did a good job with their flowers, I will never get past the bad service.
