    1. Located nearest SMF off I-5, and within other major food and shopping venues. 2. Generous food portions. 3. Prices are great! 4. Their chips and salsa are the best! 5. Fast and professional customer svc. 6. Clean restrooms. Caveat: The perfect/closest location for food and service when SMF airport is place of arr/departure (during business hours).

I should have read the recent reviews. I usually do but I was at the bank next door and was hungry. I've driven by this place many times and have always wanted to try it so I did. When I walked up the young lady behind the counter was on the phone talking an order. She put her whole hand up like stop. That was kind of weird but whatever. This wasn't a deal killer by any means. I was reading the menu and decided to get the crispy carne asada tacos (2) and a tall Pacifico. When I was ready I started to speak and the phone rang again. It happens. She put her up again and didn't even say anything but took the call. Obviously phone orders are more important. I wouldn't even mention it but the food is why I am reviewing this place. Here we go. The tacos came out pretty timely and actually looked pretty good. I was looking forward to this. I finished a quick text and dug in. When I picked up the first one it fell apart and was soaked in some kind of watery liquid that probably came from the salsa I'm thinking. It wasn't oil. The entire plate was drenched. Both tacos were completely soggy and fell apart. On top of that, they had so much sour cream and sauce they were a hot mess. I must have used 8 napkins. Nasty. Too much salsa and sour cream. It was all over the place. I read another review that made sense. I think they were trying to hide the dull flavor of the carne asada with the other ingredients. The carne asada was not good either. It tasted off. Not bad as in spoiled but not good. It lacked flavor big time. These were just bad. Did I mention i ordered crispy and not soggy tacos? I did. This place needs some serious help. Look at all the liquid on the plate. Nasty. I will never come back. Rafas taco truck is down the parking lot by Shell and is way better. Just saying. ***PUBLUC HEALTH SAFETY ISSUE*** I had a bit of a head ache while I was here and figured out what it was. There was a woman making tortillas (she was very nice and gave me one to try) on a propane griddle in the restaurant area without ventilation. This is probably illegal and definitely dangerous for your customers. If I see this again I will report it to the fire department and health department as you have a responsibility to the safety of your customers and employees.

First time ordering from this establishment. I ordered two burritos (shrimp and carnitas) and it was not what i expected for the price and quality. Moreover, i ordered 5 tacos, and the meats were dry, tasteless, lacking flavor, it felt like reheated food. The tacos were not well prepared despite my feedback to the taqueria. i overheard the cook say that he prepared them well, but this was not the case. I guess i was not sure what to expect after offering my constructive feedback, but i would not order tacos again from this place unless i am onsite to see the cook prepare them. I would have given the restaurant two stars, but the lady that answered the phone was very nice and willing to listen, hence the additional star. ordered on 4/5/22 at close to 8pm. Spent over $50.
