It was a wonderful place to stay It had a rooftop view but no swimming pool. The beach was 20 minutes away, The staff was very friendly and helpful they gave us recommendations of places to visit that were close by.
Nearby activities: Places to go that were not far from the resort.

Yes, itbis in the city and has the fun noises to welcome you to San Diego.
Great renovation! Mini studios with settlers and kitchenettes.
Loved the roof with options to grill-n-chill.
Plan to bring your groceries, as there isn't anywhere to walk for them.
There is a little shuttle to take you to the heart of Gaslamp for a small fee.
Vintage photos of Balboa Park inspire one to walk up the street and visit.
3 restaurants in Balboa Park.
3 espresso bars.
Many museums.
The historic International Cottages!
Playground.
Carousel.

Very convenient location. It's downtown so you also get the downtown noises at night.

I recently stayed at Worldmark San Diego - Balboa Park. I was greeted by a very friendly and professional valet Fatima. It got better with the front desk Elise, so friendly and helpful. Then off to Carlos with important information of the area and activities.
The room was spacious, clean and the beds super comfy.
The best part as a solo traveler, I would stop by the concierge desk and get ideas of what to do and where to eat with Jaime Slater ( my new best buddy)....he was so helpful with member owner information. Everyday he would ask "what did you do today?" and genuinely wanted to know. It was fun relaying the days activities and recommending places for future guests. The staff here made my solo vacation wonderful and I for sure will be back very soon!
