This is one of the first Home Depot's in the bay area, i have been in there 100's of times, I saw on the news it burned down yesterday, hope everyone is OK.

I never seen a store so empty. Parking space was very large. The checkout process was painless and easy. It's like this store had a fire-sale. Other then every item required an insane amount of assembly. I would go back for just hardware next time.

The building caught on fire. Very unfortunate! But I hope they will build back soon and make it better! After all, Home Depot should have all the material needed ready to go for the remodeling, right?

My daughter ordered a sliding glass door several months ago. Her order was delayed. She called several times to check the status, it was always delayed. Finally they called saying it arrived. My 7.5 months pregnant daughter scheduled the construction workers. Home Depot said they could deliver within 24 hrs. She called to schedule and they said it would be a week before they could deliver. Disappointed again she arranged for someone else to pick up. The construction crew demolished the wall and went to pick up the door. The warehouse manager said "this door has been here for a long time, see the dust! I was wondering why know one picked it up. It was in the warehouse for at least a month! Then they pulled the door out and it had cracks in several places on the frame!
Now my pregnant daughter has a hole in her home, it's cold and not safe!
They could not give her a delivery date for a new door!
Unacceptable!!
Update: the door had to to reordered, arrived 6 weeks later as scheduled. Home delivery was scheduled for Monday 10:00 AM, delivery driver called at 1:00 PM to say they could not deliver the door, they could reschedule for Wednesday. My daughter had enough, so she paid a moving company $700 to pick up and deliver the door from the Home Depot warehouse to her house. Home Depot reimbursed her the $700 plus the wood and materials they had to use to temporarily board up the previous open space.
Not the best customer service.

After shopping for a good hour here I felt the immense pain of Taco Bell trying to leave my system. I had to quickly rush to the nearest restroom inside Home Depot. The moment I hit that toilet seat the rush of hell came spewing out my starfish. Moment later I heard people screaming Evacuate The Building, OMG, evacuate the building. I started feeling really self conscious because I thought for a moment that everyone was in fear of the dook-splosion spicing out of my blowhole. When I looked up the roof of the store was . I ran out of the stall in a blinding speed, unable to wipe and just buttering my biscuits. Where was the sprinkler system? At least bidet me before roasting me like a chocolate filled pork.
