Pure Elegance Spa - Brazilian Wax & Massage Center

I’ve had a TON of Brazilian waxes and this was the most painful. I also had a lot of hair left and that’s not the point of a Brazilian. It felt very rushed and usually, the waxer tries to decrease pain by either holding some of the skin or just trying. None of that here. Also, the photos aren’t real at all!!! It’s not an elegant place at all, it’s a tiny room and you wait in the hall.

DO NOT GO HERE Candace was very unprofessional, she kept blaming me for being 7 min late when I would tell her to give me a second to breathe. She rushed through the entire thing finished in only 7 minutes and after she was done she asked if I wanted to tip her. I had no idea what to say, at that point I asked her it I had to, and she said “well that’s what normal customers do after receiving customer service”. Once I came home I saw she had ripped my skin off in 3 spots while waxing me. Plus, after my Brazilian wax, I still had like 60% of the hairs all around. She had a very unpleasing room. Her place had no waiting room you just go inside a building and text her once you arrive with the phone number she leaves written on a white board on the door and wait in the hallway. Her place looks nothing like the pictures she has listed.

Not a good experience. I don't think Candace has any training in waxing. I had bruising and redness for DAYS. She didn't hold the skin tight, didn't tweeze anything, and finished in about 5 min. I thought my symptoms were maybe because I hadn't had a brazilian wax in about a year but I have been going to Waxing the City and the experience has been a million times better because they are actually trained!

Candace only cares about getting you in and out quickly. I let her know it was my first time I got a Brazilian wax and she could've cared less. I was out of her studio in about 8 MINUTES for my first time. She made the experience very traumatizing. She would pull the strip to quick without holding my skin down that by the end I could not even walk. She nearly kicked me out when she heard me nearly crying and almost crawling out of there. I will NEVER go back to her again.
